I’m a Economics major and even though I have not completed my BA degree, I have already allowed myself to daydream. I said to myself, “I will complete my BA at CSU Eastbay (http://www20.csueastbay.edu/) majoring in Economics and then I’ll do my my MA in Economics at the same university and then a Phd in Economics somewhere else!” As I mentioned earlier, this is a dream and I have not really done any research on what exactly this would entail.
Lo and behold, like a bucket of cold water poured over me, I read the following message on the CSU East Bay website, http://www.cbe.csueastbay.edu/econ/MathinEconPhD.htm
I can’t do that much math! I love economics, but I’ll have to find another dream to follow.

Psycho Hot Sauce Mom Convicted of Child Abuse [Video] http://ping.fm/r74Xe
I watched the video and I though the mother’s behavior was fine. If the naughty little shit beautiful little boy doesn’t want the hot sauce and the cold shower maybe he needs to learn to behave in school and stop lying to his mom.

Milton Friedman turns 99 tomorrow. Nick Gillepsie offers a great remembrance of the late and great economist.

My econ professor is doing research on how much “actual news” goes into an hour of news and so we all had to watch the news on channel 2 between 6am and 7am this morning with a clipboard and note how much news/ads/weather/traffic we have to watch.
I submit to Prof Williams that he should maybe bring the Psych department in on this research to study how damn difficult it is for generation Y to watch a whole hour of news without changing the channel once.
